Agile Marketing and Account Based Marketing (ABM) have been battling it out for the last few years to see which is the hottest b2b marketing trend. The uptake of both has been driven by the huge increase on use of automation platforms such as Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua and Hubspot but which can we say has won out in 2017?
Only one way to find out – Google trends! A quick look tells us that Agile Marketing has been the biggest trend consistently since 2008 until 2015, then it was neck and neck for a while until 2017 saw Account based Marketing take a clear lead. Will it continue? Probably not, marketing is as prone to fashions as the high street, so expect both to be swamped by Ai and automation.
